Mode of Delivery: Emergency LSCSThis is to certify that a preterm male baby with very low birth weight (1 kg) was born by emergency LSCS.

The baby was admitted in a critical condition with apnea, cyanosis, absence of spontaneous breathing, and prematurity.

Immediately after admission, the baby required advanced neonatal resuscitation and mechanical ventilator support due to respiratory compromise. Surfactant therapy was administered as clinically indicated.
